The New Demography of American Motherhood |

This report examines the changing demographic characteristics of U.S. mothers by comparing women who gave birth in 2008 with those who gave birth in 1990. It is based on data from the National Center for Health Statistics and the Census Bureau. It also presents results of a nationwide Pew Research Center survey that asked a range of questions about parenthood. |

This Global Overview provides a comprehensive review of the 2009 situation of internal displacement, based on the information on over 50 countries brought together on IDMC's website. It aims to provide information on these different situations from regional and country-specific perspectives, while providing an analysis of the different situations of IDPs globally: those newly displaced, those living in continuing displacement, and those making progress towards durable solutions. |

International Tribunal on Crimes Against Women of Burma |

The Nobel Women's Initiative and the Women's League of Burma launched the report for the International Tribunal on Crimes Against Women of Burma. The Tribunal- which took place in New York on March 2, 2010- was a catalyst for action on the situation in Burma. The Tribunal featured testimony from twelve women of Burma. The report includes findings and recommendations aimed at the international community, the Burmese regime and civil society. |
