The President of the Women Economic Forum, Dr Harbeen Arora, invited Marie-Anne Delahaut, president of the Millennia2025 Women and Innovation Foundation and Director of research at The Destree Institute, to present the concrete actions of Millennia2025 in The Hague on the 8th and 9th March 2018 during the international conference organized by the Women Economic Forum .
More than 200 women entrepreneurs coming from 30 countries shared ideas, experiences and methods of action about economy, eCommerce, sustainable development, circular economy, education, media, technological progress, public policy, scientific research, cyber-security or innovation.
Marie-Anne Delahaut was invited to contribute to two workshops and one plenary session: "Challenges in Education & Women's Economic Empowerment", "The Magic Of Wonders - Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Start-ups" and "Gender Equality & Women's Empowerment".
She asked for innovative partnerships concerning, on the one hand, the concrete actions of the international Millennia2025 WeObservatory for women and eHealth such as "Zero Mothers Die" and, on the other hand, the new project MAD-Skills, "Master, Apply and Dynamize your skills" to learn, teach and work by ensuring the transmission of knowledge among contributors from all sectors or generations through the Millennia2025 Intelligence Platform.
During the plenary session, the Women Economic Forum presented her with the "Woman of the Decade in Community Leadership" Award. Indeed, she has been active for 10 years with the Millennia2025 International Voluntary Researchers' Network to build the Millennia2025 foresight research process that produced an Action Plan for women's Empowerment and Gender Equality with thepatronage of UNESCO . |
